Maharashtra: ED attaches 5 flats, 147 acre land of NCP minister Nawal Malik

MUMBAI: Enforcement Directorate ( ED) has provisionally attached properties of NCP minister

in the money laundering case they are investigating against Dawood Ibrahim and his associates. The attached properties include premises of Goawala Compound along with a commercial unit and three flats at Kurla (West), two flats at Bandra West, 147 acres agricultural land in Osmanabad district of Maharashtra.

The attached properties are registered in the name of Malik’s family members and two companies, Solidus Investments Pvt Ltd and Malik Infrastructure. ED alleged that Both the companies controlled by Malik.

ED investigating the money laundering case where Malik had allegedly grabbed Goawala compound premises with the help of Dawood Ibrahim’s late sister

around two decades ago. The ED alleged that Malik received Rs 12 crore rent from the tenants of Goawala compound on name of two companies controlled by him and its proceeds of crime.

The ED had arrested Malik in the case in February and he is in jail custody. Malik plea challenging his arrest in the case pending before the Supreme Court.

For Usurping this property, Haseena Parkar and Nawab Malik connived together and executed several legal documents to put a façade of genuinity for this criminal act.
