MUMBAI: A doctor and an ayurveda doctor were booked under the IPC and Disaster Management Act for spreading rumours. Dr Subhashchandra Yadav (39) from Nalasopara (E) was booked by Tulinj police on Wednesday for allegedly offering 'antidotes' to cure Covid-19.

Yadav was offering the cure in 3 doses of Rs 100 each. Ayurveda doctor Sarwar Khan was booked by Valiv police for putting up a board outside his clinic that read 'Corona flu preventive medicine available'. Valiv police also filed cases against managers of three restaurants on the Ahmedabad highway for keeping their establishments open despite the district collector's orders.
