NEW DELHI: Maharashtra BJP MLA Suresh Dhas's close aide Satish Bhosale, also known as Khokya, was arrested in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh and brought to Beed on Friday morning by local police officials for multiple criminal charges including attempted murder.
Beed police transported Bhosale to Chhatrapati Sambajinagar airport after taking him into custody in Uttar Pradesh. He was then taken to Beed by road.
Officials stated that Bhosale will appear before the Shirur court following a medical examination.
Police have registered three cases against Bhosale, including an attempt to murder charge. He also faces charges under the Forest Act.
Local authorities demolished Bhosale's residence in Shirur on Thursday, which they claimed was constructed illegally on forest department land.
Bhosale will face legal proceedings for both the criminal cases and the forest law violation.
