Maharashtra assembly resolution against BBC documentary

MUMBAI: The Maharashtra assembly on Saturday passed a resolution condemning BBC for its documentary on the 2002 Gujarat riots.
The resolution, moved by BJP MLA Atul Bhatkalkar, was passed by a voice vote in the absence of the Opposition, which earlier walked out of the assembly to protest against Speaker Rahul Narwekar. The resolution condemned BBC and said it tried to inflame a religious and social divide in the country.t
