Rajput becomes UAE head coach
Mumbai: Former India opener Lalchand Rajput has been appointed the head coach of UAE men’s national team for the next three years, reports Gaurav Gupta.The Mumbaikar will officially take charge of the team this week. His first assignment will be the ICC Cricket World Cup League 2 ODI tri-series being hosted in UAE with Scotland and Canada as the other participants. The tri-series begins next Wednesday. UAE will then host Scotland for three bilateral T20Is next month.Rajput is currently the head of the Mumbai Cricket Association's Cricket Improvement Committee.
