Konkan Railway announce additional special trains during summer season

MUMBAI: The Konkan Railway on Thursday announced it will run additional special trains in coordination with Central Railway to clear the extra rush of passengers during summer season.

Train no. 01017 Lokmanya Tilak (T) - Thivim Special tri-weekly will leave from Lokmanya Tilak (T) at 10.15pm every Friday, Sunday and Tuesday from April 26 to June 4.

The train will reach Thivim at 9.50am on the next day. Train no. 01018 Thivim - Lokmanya Tilak (T) Special tri-weekly will leave from Thivim at 4.35pm every Saturday, Monday and Wednesday from April 27 to June 5. Train will reach Lokmanya Tilak (T) at 3:45am on the next day, an official said.

He further said that the train will halt at Thane, Panvel, Roha, Mangaon, Veer, Khed, Chiplun, Savarda, Sangameshwar Road, Ratnagiri, Adavali, Vilavade, Rajapur Road, Vaibhavwadi Road, Kankavali, Sindhudurg, Kudal and Sawantwadi Road stations.
