Kolkata rape & murder: People in Kalyan demand justice for doctor
KALYAN: Common citizens, doctors, senior citizens of Kalyan city today gathered together at Sai Chowk in Kalyan (West) and demanded justice in the case of rape and brutal murder of trainee doctor in Kolkata.
During this time, the citizens lit candles and demanded that the accused involved in the incident with should be arrested as soon as possible and the accused should be given death penalty.
It may be recall that the citizens of the whole country are angry with the incident that happened in the R G Kar medical college of Kolkata and they are demanding the arrest of the accused involved in this brutal rape and murder and giving them death penalty.
People are also protesting by taking to the streets across the country regarding this heinous crime.
Under this, today in Kalyan city of Thane district, common citizens also came out on the streets and offered tribute to trainee doctor and demanded the arrest of the accused in the case of her brutal murder.
In this candle prayer meeting organized under the banner of Kalyankari Kalyankar Sanstha, Dr Prashant Patil demanded that the accused in this case should be given death penalty and the people who protect them, whether they are doctors or anyone else, should also be given death penalty so that no one dares to protect such accused in future.
Patil demanded that the central government should also ban the pornographic content served on pornography sites and OTT platforms in the country, which is having a bad effect on the youth in the country and such incidents are increasing.
At the same time, Surekha Ieetkar, President of IMA Kalyan, also participated in this condolence meeting.
