MUMBAI: Special public prosecutor Ujjwal Nikam on Wednesday informed the special court that allegations made by Ajmal Kasab about his jail food being laced with tranquilisers were false. Special judge M L Tahaliyani had asked for an expert to examine Kasab's food and it was found to be only rice powder and not tranquilisers.
In another development, the court examined in-camera three top NSG commandos as witnesses via video-link.

The court had summoned the commandos for an account of their fight. But after the Centre moved the Bombay High Court to challenge their deposition on grounds of sensitive information regarding their techniques being revealed, the HC had said the deposition should be in-camera.
