Jumbo block on Western Railway today

MUMBAI: The Western Railway will have a jumbo block on the up and down slow tracks between Churchgate and Mumbai Central stations today.
"To carry out maintenance work on tracks, signalling and overhead equipment, a jumbo block is being undertaken between Churchgate and Mumbai Central stations from 10.35 am to 3.35 pm today," said a WR spokesperson.
"During the block period, all Up and Down local line trains will run on through lines (i.e.fast corridor) between Churchgate and Mumbai Central stations. Due to the block, some local trains will remain cancelled," he stated, adding that detailed information in this connection will be available with local station masters.
Passengers could face some inconvenience due to trains running behind schedule and a few cancellations on WR, sources said.
