Juhu party: Bail for SA cricketer

MUMBAI: South African cricketer Wayne Parnell was granted bail on a surety of Rs 10,000 in a 2012 Juhu sundown party case after he surrendered before the special Narcotics Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act court on Monday. Special NDPS judge IM Bohari granted Parnell bail on a surety of Rs 10,000. Parnell's lawyer said his told the court that as soon as his client surrendered as soon as he arrived in India.had arrived in the country, he surrendered.
He will have to be present at the Juhu police station on June 10.
On May 20, 2012, a raid was conducted on a hotel in Juhu and several guests were booked for alleged illegal possession of narcotic substances.
