MUMBAI: A sessions court on Saturday granted Aditya Pancholi interim relief from arrest until July 19, after the actor filed an anticipatory bail application.
The actor moved court after the Versova police booked him for allegedly assaulting his 55-year-old neighbour twice in the last six months. Pancholi allegedly landed punches on the complainant, Bhargav Patel. Patel produced CCTV footage of the same following which an FIR was registered on Wednesday.
Patel lives in the same housing society as Pancholi's on Yari Road. On June 19, the actor returned at night, allegedly inebriated, looking for parking space and lost his cool when he saw Patel's car, ahead of his own, taking a long time. Patel was also attacked in January.
