The apex court directed the Assam investigating officer to coordinate with Allahbadia and fix a date and time for him to appear for questioning.

The court further clarified that his interim protection from arrest would remain in place until further orders.

Regarding Allahbadia’s plea to travel overseas as a guest for various events, the court stated that such a request would only be entertained once he has cooperated with the investigation and is no longer required for questioning.

Additionally, the Supreme Court ruled that no direct or indirect content related to the case should be produced or aired, as it could impact the proceedings.

YouTuber Ranveer Allahbadia admitted before the Maharashtra Cyber Police that his remarks on comedian Samay Raina’s YouTube show, India’s Got Latent, were a "mistake."

According to officials, Allahbadia, who appeared before Maharashtra Cyber last month to record his statement, acknowledged that his comments were inappropriate and accepted that his choice of words had sparked controversy, PTI reported.

Allahbadia’s remarks about parents and sex on the show led to widespread outrage and multiple FIRs. The Supreme Court, while granting him interim protection from arrest last week, strongly criticized his statements, calling them "condemnable and dirty." The court questioned whether he had a "license to speak such things."

During the investigation, Allahbadia stated that he attended the show as a favor to Samay Raina, whom he considers a friend, and claimed he was not paid for his appearance.

The case has also drawn in other social media influencers. YouTuber Ashish Chanchlani has been questioned, while influencer Apoorva Makhija’s statement was recorded.

Authorities have also summoned actor Rakhi Sawant for questioning on February 27. Meanwhile, the police have yet to record Samay Raina’s statement.
