IIMC Alumni Association felicitates Mumbai DCP

MUMBAI: The Indian Institute of Mass Communication's (IIMC) alumni association hosted the the Mumbai leg of its annual meeting 'Connection 2016' last Sunday. The

IIMCAA

has planned to hold the event in eight cities and Mumbai was the second destination. Delhi had hosted 'Connection 2016' on February 21 .

IIMCAA is felicitating alumni who have become bureaucrats this year under the theme 'campus wale bureaucrats'. At the Mumbai meet, Virendra Mishra, DCP of Mumbai Zone-VIII, was felicitated. Dozens of other alumni attended the event.

President of IIMCAA's Maharashtra chapter Suryakant Mishra presided over the meeting while general secretary Sourav Mishra conducted the proceedings. Principal organiser Prasad Sanyal, IIMCAA national organisation secretary Harshendra Singh Verdhan, Finance Secretary Deeksha Saksena were also present.
