Hotel’s ex-staffer held for 5L theft

Mumbai: The Malabar Hill police arrested a former valet parking attendant of a south Mumbai restaurant, Shahid Khan, for stealing Rs 5.52 lakh from the restaurant. The accused had allegedly used a duplicate key to commit the theft. He stole money for drinking alcohol and betting. The restaurant’s manager lodged an FIR on August 19. tnn
