MUMBAI: Bombay HC on Friday expressed displeasure at the state government for giving only two contractors work to install

of Bengaluru “were considerably low and very similar to each other”.

The court took up the matter after it was told cameras in a Nashik police station were not working for 2s months. The contractors, who were in court, said they are fixing glitches and had completed 65% of the work.

The judges said “the project must be completed” and SC’s order to set up CCTVs in police stations must be complied with. The judges asked the contractors to give an undertaking on completion of the work.
