MUMBAI: The Bombay high court on Monday dismissed a petition filed by suspended IPS officer Jawahar Singh urging quashing of an FIR against him in an alleged extortion case, saying it will not interfere with the probe.
A division bench of Justice B H Marlapalle and Justice U D Salvi declined relief for Singh saying the magistrate had applied his mind to the matter and only then directed the police to register a FIR.
