Grant Road to Mumbai Central stations affected by bridge re-girdering work

MUMBAI: A 13-hour major block was implemented on the Up and Down fast lines between Grant Road and Mumbai Central stations from 11 pm on Saturday to 11 am on Sunday for re-girdering work on Bridge No. 5.During this period, all fast line trains were diverted to slow lines between Churchgate and Mumbai Central stations. Several suburban trains were cancelled, while others were short-terminated or reversed from Bandra and Dadar stations, causing inconvenience to commuters.
