MUMBAI: Dov Goldberg has taken charge of Nariman House replacing Rabbi Gavriel Holtzberg, who was killed along with his wife in the last month's terror attack on the Jewish centre. "I will be handling things till a final decision is arrived upon on my formal appointment," said Goldberg on Wednesday. There will be special prayers on the occasion of Hanukkah, the jewish festival of lights, at Nariman House, also called Chabad House, and later at the Gateway of India on Thursday evening.
The grandparents of Moshe, the two-year-old son of Gavriel and Rivika, are expected to attend the ceremony. Moshe, who was orphaned on his second birthday (November 28), was saved by his 44-year-old nanny Sandra Samuel and later taken to Israel.
