At VG Vaze College, the cut-off for the arts stream increased by 8 marks as compared to the first merit list. The cut-off in this round is 85.6%. The commerce cut-of was down to 89.4%, just one mark lower than the first round. The science cut-off was down by 6 marks but at 91.4% remained out of reach for many. "We had revived enquiries from high scorers for the arts stream and so we aren't surprised that the cut-offs are higher this time," said Vidyadhar Joshi, vice principal of the college.

At Jai Hind College, Churchgate only 25 students got a seat in the arts stream and the cut-off of 87.8% was only 2% lower than the first list. The commerce and science cut-off at the college was 89.2% and 81.6% respectively. At St Xavier's College, Fort the arts cut-off was 93.8% only 1 mark lower than the first list.

Students can confirm admissions from July 21 to July 24.

The department had received a lot of flak for delaying the announcement of the first cut-offs on July 10.
