MUMBAI: The Dadar police have arrested five people allegedly for throwing stones at and vandalizing the security guard cabin at Indiabulls office in Lower Parel on Sunday night. More than 15 people, who claimed to be MNS workers, had vandalized the office. The five arrested accused—Munaf Thakur (32), Irfan Agwan (25), Sagar Solkar (22), Sagar Jadhav (22) and Vikas Pathare (41)—have been booked for unlawful assembly, rioting and damaging property.

Deputy commissioner of police (Zone V) Dhananjay Kulkarni said the attack came almost an hour after MNS chief Raj Thackeray questioned the release of water to Indiabulls’s power plant in Amravati in view of the drought in the state. On Monday, men suspected to be MNS workers vandalized the Indiabulls office in Amravati.
