FIR registered against cook and owner of Goregaon eatery for unsanitary practices while cooking

Mumbai: Dindoshi Police registered an FIR against the owner and cook of an eatery in Goregaon East based on a complaint filed by a resident about the unhygienic practices used while cooking. The complainant, a 48-year-old businessman, found the cook spitting on rotis while making them on May 23. The complainant shot a video clip of the goings-on and showed the clip to a few customers. On May 25, the police were summoned by dialling the emergency number ‘100,’ and the cook was taken into custody.
