Film producer Kirti Kumar threatened

MUMBAI: Actor-turned-MP Govinda''s brother, Kirti Kumar has complained to the police of being threatened by four armed men while travelling in his car on Monday.
The Andheri police on Tuesday registered a case of criminal intimidation on the basis of a written application submitted by Kumar, zonal deputy commissioner Ravindra Shengaokar said.
According to the application, Kumar was driving on the Andheri-Kurla road towards Borivli alongwith a friend on Monday when another car overtook his vehicle.There were four men travelling in the other car, one of whom was armed with a revolver and gesticulated at Kumar in a threatening manner. Later, Kumar submitted the application to the Versova police where he lived. The complaint was subsequently transferred to the Andheri cops in whose jurisdiction the offence had occured.
