Mumbai, Jun 29 () A unique two-month-long film festival focusing on the relationship among animals, humans and nature begins here next month with over 150 films from more than 40 countries lined up for screening.

Osianama

's Animal-Human-Nature Continuum, billed as the first international film, arts and animal welfare festival, will run from July 1 till August 28 at Liberty here.
Issues pertaining to stray, migration, animal welfare and rights, environment and climate change will dominate the curatorial ideas and philosophies of the festival.
The films are curated across eight cinematic categories - Primordial Metamorphosis to Variations on the 'Stray' - from Canine to Migrant; Refugee to Homeless;

Indigenous Grace

to Water - Purity Polluted; to the Superiority Complex - Rooted in Sci-Fi and Horror: From Godzilla to King Kong; Cat Woman to Mad Max.
There will be retrospectives and tributes to Werner Herzog, Jean Painleve, David Attenborough,

Beatrix Potter

and Walt Disney. Besides, the festival will see the first public acting Masterclass by eminent actor Naseeruddin Shah along with his one-man play '
