ED plaint against wife of Bitcoin Ponzi scam boss

Mumbai: ED presented a prosecution complaint in a Mumbai special court against Simpy Bhardwaj and her sibling in a Rs 20,000-crore Bitcoin-based pyramid scheme, reports Vijay V Singh. ED has lodged a separate plaint in Delhi against her for allegedly obstructing a search operation in Dec last year and for aiding her husband and the scheme mastermind Ajay Bhardwaj in fleeing the scene. ED later arrested Simpy in the money laundering case.
