‘ED approach in Rana case not active ’
Mumbai: A special PMLA court here, granting bail to Yes Bank founder Rana Kapoor and Gautam Thapar in a case connected to sale of a property, observed that “Enforcement’ Directorate (ED) has not shown any active approach to begin the trial of at least a single case from out of all other cases, pending since long.”
Special Judge M G Deshpande said, “Trial of PMLA case is in fact a trial of two cases.

The court noted that Thapar was “admittedly not arrested during investigation.” tnn
