Dutt had moved the court challenging its earlier order on the attachment of his two properties. This followed an arbitration award passed by the Indian Motion Pictures Producers' Association (IMPPA), on a financial dispute between him and Noorani.
Last month, Dutt's Pali Hill flat was attached and a notice was pasted on his official premises at Mayfair building in Santacruz.
Alleging that a fabricated order was passed by IMPAA which was hand in glove with Noorani, Dutt in his petition has sought detachment of his properties. He contended that the Mayfair flat could not have been attached as it was owned by his wife Maanyata.
The dispute is on a claim of Rs 2.03 crore raised by Noorani on the actor, which includes Rs 50 lakh paid to Dutt as the signing amount for the film 'Jaan Ki Baazi'. Noorani alleged that Dutt did not give him dates for the shooting, which resulted in an incomplete film and losses to the tune of Rs 1.53 crore.
