Cops summon Abu Azmi's brother

MUMBAI: Samajwadi Party leader Abu Asim Azmi's brother, Abu Shahid Azmi, was summoned by the Kherwadi police on Wednesday in a case of alleged distribution of money.
According to the police, SP supporters were distributing money when Abu Asim Azmi was filing his nomination at the collector's office.
"After getting the court's permission, we summoned Abu Shahid Azmi to record his statement,'' an official from the Kherwadi police said.Abu Shahid Azmi told the cops that he had given money to SP workers to buy refreshments.
