Cops pose as auto drivers to nab thieves in Mumbai

MUMBAI: Officers from the MHB Colony police station took up disguises as autorickshaw drivers to nab two men in connection with a case of autorickshaw theft. On January 24, auto driver Ajay Kumar Yadav had parked his auto at Dahisar West and headed out for a meal.


When he returned, the vehicle had vanished. He then registered a complaint with MHB Colony police. Following technical analysis, the police gathered that the accused were holed up in Charkop. For three days, the police team posed as auto drivers and nabbed the accused.
