College clerks, agents held for selling fake marksheets

MUMBAI: The police have arrested two college staffers and two agents who sold forged marksheets with good numbers and no-objection certificates to failed students.
Following a complaint by the management of Thakur College of Science and Commerce at Kandivli, the Samta Nagar police enlisted the help of a failed student of the same college. They laid a trap and arrested an agent Chandan Singh and his aid Amit Ray last week.The duo led the cops to two college staffers, Vijay Kesarkar and Sopan Sathe. tnn
