MUMBAI: Santa Cruz police on Thursday registered an first information report (FIR) against an unknown person for stealing clips of the yet-to-be-released movie Jawan starring actor Shah Rukh Khan.
The accused posted the clips on five Twitter handles. The case was registered on an order issued by the Delhi High Court after the production house approached the court with a complaint. Some portions of the movie have been circulated on social media that have gone viral.
In the complaint, the chief financial officer of Red Chillies Entertainment Pradip Nimani (51) said: "The movie clips have been circulated through 5 different Twitter handles."
The company approached the court after they sent a legal notice to the Twitter handle 'AJ@unknwnsrkian'. "The clips circulated on the Twitter handles is the one that someone has shot during the film shooting and has used the same to post," said the police.
