On Saturday, chief minister Prithviraj Chavan spelt his governance agenda and directed all department heads to strive for development.

He stressed on clean, transparent and efficient policies. Referring to damages due to unseasonal rains, Chavan said climatic changes were a challenge andinsisted on a right balance between environment and development.
Apart from the secretaries, Chavan met all the employees, including class IV workers, in his secretariat and wished them a happy new year.
