MUMBAI : In view of the Maharashtra assembly elections, Central Railway will operate special suburban trains on November 19-20 (Tuesday-Wednesday night) and November 20-21 (Wednesday-Thursday night) to facilitate the movement of election personnel and public.

These trains will function on the Main Line (CSMT-Kalyan) and Harbour Line (CSMT-Panvel), with designated departure and arrival timings as enumerated below.

Schedule for special suburban trains:

  • Tuesday-Wednesday night (November 19-20)
Main Line (Down):
CSMT – Kalyan special: Departs CSMT at 3am, arrives Kalyan at 4.30am.

Main Line (UP):
Kalyan – CSMT special: Departs Kalyan at 3am and arrives CSMT at 4.30am.

Harbour Line (Down):
CSMT- Panvel special: Departs CSMT at 3am, arrives Panvel at 4.20am.

Harbour Line (Up):
Panel – CSMT special 2: Departs Panvel at 3am, arrives CSMT at 4.20am.

  • Wednesday-Thursday night (November 20-21)

Main Line (Down):
CSMT – Kalyan special: Departs CSMT at 1.10am, arrives Kalyan at 2.40am.
CSMT – Kalyan special: Departs CSMT at 2.30am, arrives Kalyan at 4am.

Main Line (Up):
Kalyan – CSMT special: Departs Kalyan at 1am, arrives CSMT at 2.30am.
Kalyan – CSMT special: Departs Kalyan at 2am, arrives CSMT at 3.30am.

Harbour Line (Down):

CSMT- Panvel special: Departs CSMT at 1.40am, arrives Panvel at 3am.
CSMT- Panvel special: Departs CSMT at 2.50am, arrives Panvel at 4.10am.

Harbour Line (Up):
CSMT- Panvel special: Departs Panvel at 1am, arrives CSMT at 2.20am.
CSMT- Panvel special: Departs Panvel at 2.30am, arrives CSMT at 3.50am.

All special trains shall halt at all stations between CSMT-Kalyan and CSMT-Panvel, as per the aforementioned schedules, said CR chief spokesperson Swapnil Nila.

“These supplementary services are intended to enhance connectivity and ensure seamless transit of election participants. Passengers are advised to utilise these additional services for their travel requirements on these nights,” he added.
