MUMBAI: The Central Railway will run 112 Holi special train services to cater to the rush of passengers during the festival season this month.

This will include LTT Mumbai-Banaras Weekly Specials (6 services), LTT Mumbai-Danapur Bi-Weekly Superfast Specials (6 services), LTT Mumbai-Samastipur Weekly Superfast Specials (4 services), LTT Mumbai-Prayagraj Weekly Superfast AC Specials (8 services), and LTT Mumbai-Thivim Weekly AC Specials (6 services).

An official said that some of the other Holi special trains on Central; Raiare Pune-Kanpur Weekly Superfast Specials (4 services), LTT Mumbai-Gorakhpur Weekly Superfast Specials (6 services), Pune-Sawantwadi Weekly AC Specials (6 services), Panvel-Sawantwadi Weekly AC Specials (6 services), LTT Mumbai-Thivim Weekly Specials (6 services), Panvel-Thivim Weekly Specials (6 services), Mumbai CSTM-Gorakhpur Weekly Superfast Specials (6 services), Pune-Thivim weekly specials (8 services), Panvel-Thivim weekly specials (8 services), Pune-Danapur Weekly Superfast Specials (4 services), Roha-Chiplun Unreserved Special MEMU (22 services).

For the convenience of passengers and to meet the travel demand during the Holi festival, Western Railway will run special trains on special fares between Bandra – Bhagat Ki Kothi, Surat – Subedarganj, and Okha – Delhi Sarai Rohilla, an official said on Sunday.

Train No. 09035 Bandra Terminus – Bhagat Ki Kothi Special will depart from Bandra Terminus every Wednesday at 11 am and will reach Bhagat Ki Kothi at 4 am the next day.

This train will run on March 20 and 27. Similarly, Train No. 09036 Bhagat Ki Kothi – Bandra Terminus Special will depart from Bhagat Ki Kothi every Thursday at 3.30 pm and reach Bandra Terminus the next day.

This train will run on March 21 and 28. En route, this train will halt at Borivali, Palghar, Vapi, Surat, Bharuch, Vadodara, Anand, Ahmedabad, Mahesana, Patan, Bhildi, Raniwara, Marwar Bhinmal, Modran, Jalor, Mokalsar, Samdari, and Luni stations in both directions, an official added.
