Mumbai: In what has come as a relief to several train commuters, the revision of rates of food at the eatery stalls on platforms of Central Railway has been kept on hold “till further notice”. A day earlier, CR had announced that it would hike rates of A la carte eatables such as vada, samosas, bread pakoda, usal/ragda, pav, misal pav, etc. at the stalls from June 1. This decision has now been withheld. Sources said that in view of inflation and rising market and fuel prices, the decision has been kept on hold.
