Central Bank win big

Mumbai: Central Bank Recreation Club secured a commanding 363-run victory over Construction Employees Recreation Club in a F Division Times Shield match. Smit Patil scored an impressive 139 (4x19, 6x3), supported by the retiring Vidyadhar Pednekar (59) and Sanskar Dahelkar (30). Kaustubh Tathare’s unbeaten 135* and Neil Verma's 29* powered the team to a formidable 425/4 in 45 overs.
Interestingly, this marks the inaugural instance in the history of the Times Shield where the Mumbai Cricket Association staff has formed a team. They edged out Central Railway Institute by four wickets.
