MHADA organises lotteries to make affordable housing available to people from various sections of society. Thanks to the concessions it offers, its prices are lower than market prices. This explains why MHADA residences are in huge demand despite a real estate slump. Since its founding in 1977, the development authority has built over 4.5 lakh residences, and the number of applications for its lotteries has increased substanially over the years.
The lottery results will be declared on the official website Mhada.maharashtra.gov.in.
