Bush in Mumbai for business meet

MUMBAI: Former US president George W Bush arrived in Mumbai around 7.45pm on Monday on a private visit.
Sources said Bush is in the city to attend a business meet and to speak at an event organized by a leading private general insurance company on Tuesday. The former president is staying at a five-star hotel in south Mumbai.
Sources said there was unprecedented security in and around the hotel due the threat perception.Bush flew into Mumbai from South Korea on a chartered Boeing 767, said an airport official, adding that he was scheduled to return around 7am on Wednesday.
"We had 2-3 meetings with officials from the US consulate to discuss the arrangements for his visit," said an airport official.
