Builder, staffer attacked by 13 with sword, rod

MUMBAI: A property developer and his office boy were attacked by 13 men with swords and metal rods in their office on the Mumbai-Ahmedabad national highway at Juchandra in Naigaon on Wednesday evening.

The attackers had a day earlier approached the developer, Jitendra Yadav (50), and demanded Rs 2 crore extortion money to safeguard his properties. The Naigaon police have registered a case of attempt to murder and extortion the 13 accused. No arrest has been made yet.
