a unique flower the new lux beauty soap commercial, features film actress urmila matondkar emerging from a blooming pink flower. the opening flower sequence is not a computer generated graphic trick but is a sequence composed by choreographer shiamak davar. the petals have twenty-four students from the sdipa hidden under them and the entire blooming effect was achieved as a result of accurate steps performed by the students. when commenting on the sequence, shiamak said, "ram madhavi, equinox films said that he could only think of me to come up with something that looked like a flower blooming. he wanted to use fabric, props or anything i could think of to depict a flower. it had to look like a flower but the main criteria was that the dancers should not be seen."
