MUMBAI: Bombay high court on Monday said it will hear on April 27 a petition seeking arrangement of Covid-19 booster shots by the state for citizens and for the government to disclose the mechanism for such precautionary shots, given a gradual rise in cases.

The petitioner, lawyer Dhruti Kapadia, mentioned the matter for urgent hearing before a bench of Acting Chief Justice S V Gangapurwala and Justice S V Marne and said since there appears to be no policy except for notification, there may be a need to crystalise whether notifications are policies and what is the roadmap.

Research is necessary prior to administer any medicines, this research takes years. In case of Covid, very very little reasearch done, due urgency as vast citizens were affected. In India no research done. in fact politics played greater role over safety of people. Hon Modi wanted his photo on Covid certificate, therefore Govt was hurry in giving vaccination without knowing side effects. Opinion of doctors matters, but they may be scared of Hon Modi to give true picture. So what is to be done ? Wait and watch
