MUMBAI: Many citizens paying property tax online through the BMC website have faced issues, particularly with receiving OTPs needed to complete payments. In response, the BMC clarified on Thursday that the issue has been resolved and the online payment process is now functioning smoothly.
"The system-level errors have been addressed. We encourage residents to use the UPI facility available on their mobile phones for making payments," stated the civic body.
The BMC’s Tax Assessment and Collection Department has issued approximately 625,000 property tax bills for FY 2024-25.
