BMC elections: Celebrities cast their votes

Congress leader Shashi Tharoor has questioned Pakistan’s credibility as a mediator in US-Iran talks, stating that a single instance of peacemaking cannot overshadow its long-standing record on terrorism. Addressing the issue in Delhi, Tharoor stressed that Pakistan must demonstrate real change by dismantling terror networks, shutting training camps, freezing financial channels, and taking action against those promoting hate. He said global trust can only be built through consistent and verifiable steps. Tharoor also underlined that peace is not a zero-sum game and would benefit all countries in the region, including India. He added that India should continue to engage constructively to support broader regional stability.
