BHIWANDI: Around 200 Bharatiya Janata Party workers from Bhiwandi celebrated Prime Minister Narendra Modi's decision about ceasing legal tender notes of denomination of Rs 500 and Rs 1,000 by coming on road with band-baja.
The celebration rally on Thursday started at Arihant Tower and ended at Dhamankar Naka in Bhiwandi. The celebration was organized by BJP MLA Mahesh Chaughele and

. The participants carrying Rs 500 and Rs 1000 currency notes, celebrated decision saying it is master stroke by government to control the black money. Santosh Shetty, president of the BJP in Bhiwandi said, “We have appealed citizens by distributing phone number asking them in case someone needs any help over note issue, one can call BJP workers who will help them to resolve their issue”. The BJP workers also distributed sweets on the occasion.
