On eve of poll results, city BJP secy joins UBT

Mumbai: A day before assembly poll results, city BJP secretary Sachin Shinde from Mahim quit the party and joined Shiv Sena (UBT) on Friday. He, along with his supporters, formally joined Shiv Sena (UBT) at Matoshree, party chief Uddhav Thackeray's residence.Mahim is witnessing a triangular fight among Mahesh Sawant of Shiv Sena (UBT), Sada Sarvankar of Shiv Sena, and Amit Thackeray of MNS. BJP had initially announced its support for Amit, but later said it would support Sarvankar. tnn
