Bizman to give M’laxmi temple pure gold dome

Mumbai: The city’s Mahalaxmi Temple will be in the league of temples having domes adorned with pure gold. Oman-based businessman S Periyasamy, originally from Coimbatore, has offered to electroplate the Mahalaxmi temple dome with gold worth Rs 10 crore as part of his reverence for the deity—the holy trinity of Mahakali, Mahalaxmi and Mahasaraswati—who he believes helped him through a trying time in the city during 26/11.He has sought the intervention of Sankaracharya Kanchi Kamakoti Peetam to approach the Shri Mahalaxmi Temple Trust.
