MUMBAI: One of the prominent Durga Puja venues in Mira-Bhayander is the Banga Sangha Durgotsav at RNP Park, which is celebrating its 33rd year. “We invited renowned moortikar Vishwanath Pal from Kolkata to prepare this classic idol. The deity is housed in an ethnic Bengali palace, which has also been crafted by an artiste from Kolkata named Vishwanath Ghosh. The mandap is 60-ft tall,” mandal treasurer K C Ghosh said. Rathin Dutta, vice-president of the Sangha, said that cultural programmes are being organized every evening till October 22
