NEW DELHI: Harishkumar Balakram, 23, a resident of Bahraich, Uttar Pradesh, has been arrested by Mumbai Police in connection with the Baba Siddique murder case on Monday.
He was working as a scrap dealer in Pune and was involved in the conspiracy, providing funds and logistical support to the alleged killers.
The other three arrested suspects are Haryana resident Gurmail Baljit Singh, Mohammad Yasin Akhtar of Punjab and Pravin Lonkar from Pune.
Siddique, 66, was waylaid by three persons at Kher Nagar in Mumbai's Bandra area just outside his MLA son Zeeshan Siddique's office and shot at on Saturday night.
He was taken to the Lilavati Hospital where he was declared dead.
