Arrival gate keys ‘missing’, flyers made to wait at Bengaluru airport

Mumbai: Flyers who alighted from a flight from Male at Bengaluru airport on Wednesday were forced to wait 20 minutes at the gate to the arrival terminal because the airport staff were unable to unlock it. Journalist Vir Sanghvi tweeted about it, claiming airport staff “couldn’t find the key to open the arrival hall door to let them in for over 20 minutes”.
An airport spokesperson said all 113 flyers were able to clear the area “fairly quickly” after security personnel reached out to a supervisor. tnn
