ULHASNAGAR: Bharatiya Janata Party in the district received a shot in the arm on Sunday as large chunk of Nationalist Congress Party workers led by its senior leaders from city Rajesh Bhoir and Suryakant Madvi joined BJP at an informal function on Sunday in Ulhasnagar.

BJP Ulhasnagar district president Kumar Ailani and General Secretary Sanjay Singh welcomed them in to party. "Sincere political persons like Bhoir and Madvi are valuable for any party, he said and hoped that they would continue good work in the BJP". Said Ailani.

At least 100 NCP workers who were Bhoir and Madvi's supporters also joined the BJP along with him. Along with, NCP workers two MNS leaders Aslam Shaik and Niranjan Das also joined BJP.
