Ankolekar gets maiden Mumbai Ranji call-up

Mumbai: Left-arm spinning allrounder Atharva Ankolekar received his maiden Mumbai Ranji call-up as the selectors on Sunday named a 15-man squad for the opening match, from January 5 against Bihar at Patna.The 23-year-old, who played for India in the Under-19 World Cup in South Africa in January 2020 (he took four wickets and scored 61 runs), has played eight List A (8 wickets@31.50, 31 runs@10.33) and 12 T20 matches@35.83).
